International Marathon – COSMOS TRAINING 3.0

The registration for the Marathon of all ages is scheduled from the 7th till the 12th of April on the website www.cosmosmarathon.com and is dedicated to the Russian Cosmonautics day. Participation is free of charge. 

“We decided to unite people of the planet who are isolating themselves for common safety. As an astronaut, I know how important the support, motivation and positive spirit is. Especially in our time. Only together, through sports and daily achievements, can we overcome any diseases, become stronger and healthier!" - says Sergey Ryazanskiy, Hero of the Russian Federation, pilot-astronaut, chairman of Russian movement of schoolchildren (All-Russian public-state children's and youth organization, whose activities are aimed at educating the younger generation, developing children based on their interests and needs, as well as organizing leisure and employment for schoolchildren) and inspirer of the project.

The mission of the Marathon is to distantly unite and support people all over the world in a situation of isolation, instill a healthy lifestyle and thoughts through regular sports, without going out and being at public places.

The coordinators of the Marathon aim to unite 100 000 participants around the world, adults and children, to train with professional fitness coaches, national heroes and celebrities during the period of nine weeks.

The Marathon "Cosmos training” is held for the third time but for the first time it has an official international format. The first Marathon was held in 2018-2019 and had as the main prize - the ascent of the highest point in Africa Kilimanjaro. The winner of this Marathon was a resident of Belarus, the city of Mozyr. The second Marathon was held in a family format and brought together more than 500 families across Russia with children aged 5 to 16 years. The winners became the family from Krasnodar. The inspirer of each Marathon was and still is Sergey Ryazanskiy, Hero of the Russian Federation, astronaut. The mission of Marathons is to promote a healthy lifestyle and thought.
